Overview
Single-mode fibers (ITU-T G.652D) in loose tubes filled with thixotropic water-blocking jelly; central steel strength member; corrugated aluminum-tape armor + corrugated steel-tape armor (the "53" double-armor designation); PE outer sheath. Designed for direct burial in any soil environment without supplementary conduit, including tropical soil with high water table and termite activity.
Key Features
Direct-buried, no conduit needed
Double-armor construction qualifies for direct burial in any soil environment, including tropical high-water-table and termite-active conditions.
G.652D fiber
Low water-peak single-mode fiber — supports all CWDM channels and 100G/400G optics over installed campus distances.
Applications
Campus and outside plant
Inter-building trunks across campuses, direct-burial site fiber, aerial spans over distribution poles.
Telecom access network
FTTH and FTTB last-mile fiber distribution.
