KVV 450/750V Copper PVC-Insulated PVC-Sheathed Control Cable

KVV is the standard 450/750V control cable for low-voltage control circuits — PLC outputs to relay coils, push-button stations to control logic, switchgear interlock signals. Up to 61 cores in one cable, color-coded per IEC for fast terminations against panel drawings.

Overview
Class 1 or Class 2 copper conductors (per cross-section), individual PVC insulation, twisted core lay, PVC outer sheath. Standard core counts are 4, 7, 10, 14, 19, 24, 30, 37, 44, 52, 61 — the operator picks the count that matches actual signal count plus 10–20% spare. Sheath compound rated 70°C continuous, with reasonable mechanical abrasion resistance for cable tray installation.
Key Features
Up to 61 cores
One cable instead of multiple smaller cables — fewer terminations, simpler tray fill calculations.
Reliable IEC color code
Consistent color code on every reel — terminations match the panel drawing without site rework.
Applications
Switchgear and motor control
Control room to MCC, MCC to motor, push-button stations to control logic.
BMS field wiring
Building management system field cables to FCUs, valves, dampers, sensors.
